Rinascimento Resort is a gem located only few Km from Florence, in the Tuscan countryside, admist a breathtaking landscape where Nature and its warm colours reigns.

The hamlet boasts 18 bedrooms divided into five different types of accomodation, unique and special, which express the best of local tradition and offers the comforts of a boutique hotel. A location to experience the bliss of a slower and more appreciative lifestyle.

A perfect place for a getaway with family and friends or a dreamy location for a romantic wedding. Here you can relax by the pool, try typical Tuscan products or rediscover your inner harmony  enjoying the Spa treatments.

The property has been entirely and wisely renovated, by paying great attention to the choice of high-quality materials and finishings, resulting in a warm, classy style that embraces the guest and instills a sense of quietness and relaxation. Walls rich with history and large windows allow every glimpse to sweep at 360° over the outstanding attractiveness of the surroundings  until the city of Florence.

The main building is the Villa, with its majestic, plastered façade and windows framed in a classic gray sandstone, an expression of timeless beauty. On the ground floor it features a living room, a library study, a spacious dining room and a large kitchen fully equipped. Each space is decorated with refined parquet or two-tone floors alternating bardiglio stone and white marble. The walls are enlightened by warm pastel colors and embellished with refined trompe-l’œil .

On the first floor  there are five bedrooms with king size or twin beds, each with  luxurious ensuite bathroom finished with precious marble and windows that open on the park. The bathrooms have rain shower or bath tub. The walls are painted bianco calce – a warm white that also covers the wooden structure of the room, while the wood floors are composed of antique oak planks, a peculiarity of uniqueness in each room.

An ancient dove tower was transformed into one of the most fascinating and exclusive rooms of the Villa. A large window frames the Certosa of Florence and, in the distance, the unmistakable Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore.

The outdoor spaces are realized in continuity with the interiors, with facilities such as a barbecue and a small wood-fired oven, for sharing convivial moments.

Even the Italian-style garden was subject to a renovation that awakened its splendour. The green of the marvelous gardens blends perfectly with the crystal blue waters of the ornamental basin and the heated swimming pool. Olive groves, vineyards, fields, oak, and cypress trees extend for miles in a neverending landscape. An old rampart due East, towards Florence, was carefully restored to provide a place of reflection and medition immersed in Nature.

This stunning Resort has also a guest house– originally the old limonaia, or lemon house – that features one bedroom with ensuite bathroom and large arched windows.

Another peculiarity is a special vegetable garden – strictly organic – filled with top quality vegetables and herbs that head straight to the kitchen, following the rhythm of the seasons, for the creation of dishes with distinct, authentic flavor, but used also for cooking classes and education, by applying a farm-to-table methodology.

The other 4 types of accomodation are:

FATTORIA:

Together with the main Villa, it represents the ancient hearth of the Rinascimento complex.

The Fattoria is carachterized by a more rustic style compared to the Villa: walls plastered in clean white limestone, furnishings in classic gray sandstone, a large fireplace carved simply out of pietraforte stone. The dining and living rooms have vaulted ceilings uncovered during the restoration, made of terracotta tiles, they depict the remarkable craftsmanship of the Renaissance builders.

4 bedrooms, each with ensuite luxurious bathroom. From this apartment, a private access leads to the chapel where the beautiful fresco of the XVth century by Ridolfo del Ghirlandaio is kept, to be admired in tranquility and exclusivity.

BOTTEGA:

Bottega is a two-bedroom apartment, located opposite the Fattoria, the renovation has kept the style of a typical Tuscan “country house”, with terracotta floors, stone fireplaces and a remarkable architectonic feature is the wooden truss that lies above the large living room: a work of high engineering made by the skilled hands of the master craftsmen of the past.

Warm and bright tones caractherize the furniture and finishing of the spacious living room, dining room, and functional kitchen. This apartment boasts two bedrooms – one master and one double – each with ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. From the windows, as well as from the private garden, the beautiful Duomo of Florence frames the backdrop.

FRANTOIO:

After the main villa, the Frantoio is the largest apartment. The name, means “olive press” and this is the function of this spaces 500 years ago: the olive oil production. It has three bedrooms with ensuite bathroom.

On the ground floor, it features a living area that leads outside to a loggia with two arches, connecting to the garden and an open-air courtyard, cozy and reserved, at the center of the apartment. Two other rooms face the courtyard, a bedroom and a study, isolated from the rest of the house. Among the dwellings of the Rinascimento complex, Frantoio  is perhaps the one that has mostly maintained the spirit of convivilaity of the country houses. It is carachterized by warm finishings that create a natural and inviting environment.

STUDIO:

This small villa develops on 3 floors and it has 4 bedrooms with ensuite bathroom. On the ground floor there are the living room, dining room and a functional kitchen, while the 3 bedrooms are located on the upper floors.

The master bedroom is on the mezzanine and it has a private access through a staircase, directly from the private garden.
