Julia Roberts’ Castle perched atop a hill, has been completely restored whilst maintaining the spirit and atmosphere of a noble mansion. It can accommodate 12 people in the luxurious comfort of 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.
The hystory of the Castle dates back to 1210, when the Counts Alberti of Certaldo built Caput Aulae at the center of the Val d’Elsa, later transforming it into an elegant country mansion where also Julia Roberts has been a guest.
The Castle is the ideal spot to create the perfect backdrop for an exclusive rental, unforgettable holiday or a Tuscan wedding. Luxurious facilities complement the private villa, including a private secluded swimming pool, a consecrated chapel, a 13th century tower and breathtaking views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. 1.2 km of unpaved road will bring you to this enchanting castle.
An attentive staff, Simona (the cook) and Cristy (the butler) will ensure that every request is handled with care.
Prices are inclusive of:
- Daily maid service 6 days/week
- One complimentary breakfast is offered on the morning after arrival.
- Pool available mid-April to mid-October according depending on weathar conditions
- Weekly linen and towel change
- Electricity up to 300€ kwh/week
Services not included:
- Additional breakfast service is available upon request at €15–20 per person.
- Private chef and Housekeeping staff: 20€ per hour each.
- Electricity over 300kw/h: 1kwh
- Tourist Tax: .1.50€ per person/day (up to 6 nights), payble in cash
- Heating: 600€ per week
- Security deposit: 500€ cash at check in refundable at check out
CANCELLATION POLICY:
– For cancellation before 60 days of arrival, the refund is total.
– For cancellation between 60 days and 31 days before 1st day of rental, 50% refundable.
– For cancellation in the 30 days before arrival, the total amount is non-refundable.
